A Message to Danny Jacob

(To any of you who are confused, this is my long message to a living person I look up to: Danny Jacob, one of Phineas and Ferb's vital workers. He works with the music, and he sang a lot of songs for Phineas and Ferb. So at January 29th, exactly one month before my birthday, after many tweets where I've mentioned him possibly as known as "hard work", Danny Jacob had finally tweeted me to thank me for my "tour support"? OK, that's most likely a typo, but still. He thanked me. Anyway, should I address him with Mr? Should I? Maybe I should, because he's older than me. *raises shoulders*)

Hello, Mr. Danny Jacob. I call you Mr., right? Because I'm not particularly good at English grammar. Anyway, thank you so much for tweeting me. I'm a big fan of yours, and you'd probably notice it.

So, where to begin? OK. First of all, I want to ask you. Have you read all of my tweets that I think you've ignored? I've once greeted you a Happy New Year once, but you haven't answered. I've also asked you a question regarding the giveaway you're holding.You know, where you're giving some Phineas and Ferb album to a couple of people. The question I've asked you is about whether I'm allowed to join despite living in a country outside the U.S., particularly Indonesia. Have you noticed that question too? Not only that, do you know that the tweet stating about you being the first "Daniel Jacob" born in California since 1905 and the one mentioning you having some music video featuring yourself were actually produced by me? The account must have gotten my tweets via twitterfeed. I hope you can explain. I'm a very curious person.

Second, the tweet. I appreciate it, really. Though the way you tweeted seemed... unique. I mean, it's different from the other tweets you've tweeted. On a regular basis, you usually interact with other tweeters while twitting some news. Other than that, you didn't follow my account "Kuzlalala" and according to the world clock, you must have been mentioning me in the middle of the night? And I think you're tired because of the typo you've typed. Are you OK, Mr? Did you suddenly wake up in the middle of the night? I hope there's nothing wrong with you. I'm very concerned. By the way, you've put "DJ" on the tweet, unlike other tweets where you address other people. Was it an autograph? Why did you put that? I'm looking forward to know.

Lastly, some small things. I've sent you a letter back in December, and it's still in process of being sent to the address you've provided. There's a lot in there, including some more questions I didn't ask here. Then, there's a twitter account named "DannyJacobFans" which you can check out. 13 people have followed the twitter account, which is the reason I keep tweeting. It's for the followers.

Why Some People Don't Like Phineas and Ferb

I'm curious why people don't like Phineas and Ferb. Here are what people think what's bad about it.

Reason for me to put this? Maybe the when the creators read the hate messages they'll try to improve it. You as the fans could "counter attack" these as well by commenting this blog post.

There are a lot of things on the show, which make me cringe:
- The art leaves a lot to be desired.
- The show is extremely predictable.
- The one episode to shake things up is a DREAM.

- The show basically consists of running gags and brick jokes.

I've been to the Platypus Day page from the Phineas and Ferb website. Then I went to the Agent Communicator! In the activity, you get to send a message to your friend. Apparently Perry a.k.a Agent P speaks for you, and they use some translator to translate what he's speaking. There are options of what Perry's speaking. Here are the phrases Perry speaks, sans the ones related with Platypus Day on March 5th.

One part beaver, one part duck, all platypus.
From steamy tropics to freezing snow, I'm well equipped to battle evil in all climates.

My Thoughts on Across the Second Dimension

Obviously as a Phineas and Ferb fan myself, I got excited about the Phineas and Ferb movie Across the Second Dimension,. In the movie, Phineas and Ferb will finally know that Perry their pet platypus is a secret agent. I was hyped! Also, there's a lot of fan theories about this show, including Isabella from the second dimension falling with love with Phineas from the second dimension and the characters forgetting about Perry being Agent P. I myself think that Perry will talk in the movie. I hope it'll be epic.

But sometimes I'm afraid that it'll not be like what I've hope for. Like I haven't seen Perry talk yet. And they'll all forget Perry's secret identity, being more-and-less useless for the timeline. This did caught my attention, though.

The scene was shown in the EPIC trailer when it says "only one secret agent fits the bill" along with Perry the Platypus. It may be that Perry used to be a human, Perry will turn into a human, or both. OR if the figure isn't Perry, it might be a spoilerific character from the movie or just an image exclusively for the trailer, like what one person theorized. If the mystery figure is Perry or the movie doesn't say whether the figure is Perry or not, this will effect the Perry is Phineas and Candace's father theory. I just can't wait!

It's a glimpse of Perry's background story/history. It's interesting, though it might contradict my "Perry is Phineas and Candace's Father" theory. Let's see some more. And I'm seriously curious about the mysterious figure from the trailer! I totally can't wait!

EDIT #2: I have watched the movie! Yup, there were some up and downs. First, well, Perry was awesome along with Alternate Candace a.k.a. Candace-2. Especially Candace-2! She's like a talking Perry the Platypus! You know, the one who cares about Phineas and Ferb so much while kicking the butts of their enemies.

The ending... was cliché. Yep, mind-erased. Hello... it's so common in plots where they know something they shouldn't know. And the mystery figure's a shrub. Go figure. And there's no Perry speaking either. Even Platyborg! Yup, that was disappointing indeed.

My Opinions on Phineas and Candace's Biological Father

ATTENTION: FURTHER EDITS ARE IN THIS BLOG ENTRY.

Phineas reading his (biological) father's diary.

Apparently the post about the possibilities of who Phineas and Candace's biological father is gets many views by Phineas and Ferb fans. Sorry for the bad grammar there. I hope I'm better at it now.

Anyway, that post was based on other opinions. This post is based on my opinions. In my opinion their biological father is Perry the Platypus. The theory was first mentioned in the Internet by Bobtherandomguy from PnF Wiki. I know, it's weird, but I just think it's the best theory of their biological father yet.

I'm not just gonna talk about how Perry the Platypus lost his fatherhood. I'm gonna tell my theory on how their father (any kind of person, not just Perry or Doofenshmirtz) disappeared and what kind of problems he had with Linda. I will also going to tell you about his history. I'm still using Perry the Platypus as the "father" in this theory.

Here it goes.

During high school, Perry (it's most likely not his real name, but let's just call him "Perry", OK?) is an inventor/geek? and master guitar player, being part of a band. Eventually Linda got impressed by Perry's awesome guitar playing and wanted to learn how to play the guitar from him. Perry agreed. As he teaches Linda how to play the guitar, they eventually love each other, agreed to date and even marry.

They both became big stars, being famous and all. But a few years later they gave up on their star careers and settled for a simple family life. Except that... Perry is too busy with his job. He wasn't even there when Linda gave birth to Candace. (makes me think that Linda would most likely as "Hey, where's Perry?" LOL) Perry does take care of Candace (but rarely), and he really wants to, but he feels that his job is a must, and frequently leaves his family for his job... as a secret agent. Candace became lonely, not only because her father's very busy but her mother has her business too. Because of that she would usually play with an imaginary Zebra and Ducky Momo. (I think.) There's also a possibility that Perry wanted Candace to be a boy and occasionally called her "Kevin".

One day, Perry received an announcement from the boss (maybe Major Monogram, but probably not) that in order to disguise better, the agents must transform into animals. Perry had to think for a while, he's not sure if he's ready to turn into an animal. Then at home, he suddenly had a fight with Linda while she was being pregnant with Phineas. She scolded him badly about his absence for the family. It surely doesn't help that she's having mood swings during the moment.

Then came the tearjerker. Perry came close to Candace to say good-bye, wrote a "suicidal note" saying that he's sorry that he can't take care of the family because he's too busy for work, and left to change into... a platypus.

Well, the father doesn't have to be Perry. He could be replaced with some other guy who cares about work more than his family, and left them without trace, thus being "dead in absentia". The "preferring work over family" part is mostly inspired by Swampy Marsh's joke about Perry being married with his job. Seriously, it helped so much. Thank you!

OK, move on! After Linda found out, she went quiet. There's no sign of being sad or happy or angry. She just went to bed. The next days she tried to find a new love. That's when she found Lawrence. Apparently Lawrence has a scholarship to study in the US and brought Ferb (whom I think got pregnant with Ferb because of alien abduction, but he always keeps it a secret - even Linda doesn't know). They fell in love and got married. Somehow.

Oh yeah! Perry who was transformed into a platypus was soon Linda's pet a few months before Phineas was born. Perry's memory got a bit mixed up, and he kinda forgot his fatherly days, which is probably why he doesn't have any romantic affection with Linda. She got Lawrence anyway. When Perry was still human he regretted that he can't take care of his kids, especially Candace, so when he's a platypus, he has a sudden affection towards Candace, despite that they have a love-hate relationship.

EDIT: I'm gonna add some more because I have realized that Phineas had an experience with baby Perry. You know, in that episode where Perry had to be resigned to another enemy because Dr. Doofenshmirtz isn't much of a threat? Well, here's the addition.

Apparently before Perry became a platypus, his nemesis wasn't Dr. Doofenshmirtz. He goes against any enemy all over the world, like James Bond. He's also the best agent in his agency (and probably the only competent one). When he was in the agency, he also makes his own gadgets which he uses when he fights against evil. Because of this, he only appeared at home for once a year. The first time of the year is when Perry made Linda got pregnant with Phineas. A few months later, he came back, but was scolded by Linda.

Perry was pretty much banished from the house forever. Then the agency wanted Perry to be reborn as an animal to disguise better with a machine. With the machine, Perry became a platypus, but a mindless platypus. The agency got disbanded because they have destroyed their best agent and was replaced by the O.W.C.A. The organization thought that the platypus had some potential, so they figured out a method to make the platypus act like a human with multiple abilities. Then they figured out that they could also do it with other animals, and set them with their own nemesis, so they wouldn't have one agent trying to defeat many enemies.

EDIT #2: Editing again! Linda, Phineas, and Candace's last names were Flynn. Some would assume that their father's last name is Flynn, too. But since Linda's parents' last names were also Flynn, the father's last name would obviously be something else. And then, someone said that Linda and the father might have not been married yet. I think it's possible in the US to have kids despite not getting married yet, so maybe they haven't married yet and never divorced (in this theory the father "died", not "divorced").

EDIT #3: Some people were wondering if Phineas and Candace even have the same dad. Well, I think they have the same dad, since Candace's head is pointy like Phineas, though it may just be her hair. Though it's also possible that Linda was a *ehem* prostitute with men and had Phineas and Candace. And for those who thinks that Heinz Doofenshmritz is one of them, no. I do not think that Dr. Doofenshmirtz is the father of any of them. I've been convinced by the Doofenshmirtz Family Reunion and the episode What Do It Do? where Heinz had a (possibly blind) date with Linda and had never meet again until this day.

Candace and Perry

Perry the Platypus and Candace Flynn are my favorite Phineas and Ferb characters. And no, I'm not gonna pair them up just because they're my top 2. It's just a coincidence. I do like their connection, a special one that is.

I happened to be interested since Perry seems to be more involved with Candace than Phineas and Ferb (not counting the fact that his battles against Dr. Doofenshmirtz made most of their inventions disappear). The scenarios involving Perry and Candace that I remember are Perry appearing in Candace's bedroom in this episode where some of the big focuses are Candace hates Perry but actually shows that she loves him when he disappears, Perry and Candace switching brains, and Perry dreaming of Candace dreaming about Phineas and Ferb get busted.

There are some fan theories that says that Candace's dream from Wizard of Odd is also Perry's. There are some evidence of this, like the dream having Agent P, Dr. Doofenshmirtz and even Major Monogram. And it also appears that there's a Perry POV there too. I think every scene in the episode would have either Candace or Perry. Also, when Candace wakes up, there's also Perry lying beside her.

There are a few theories around this special relation ship between Candace and Perry. Some say that Candace and Perry are mind-linked, some may think that Perry is Candace, and I think it's that Perry is Candace's father who really care about her. Aww...

A Review for The Return of Hanuman

OK, now I've been crazy about The Return of Hanuman lately. And now I should explain to you about The Return of Hanuman!

NOTE THAT THE MOVIE IS BEING REVIEWED BY AN INDONESIAN NON-HINDU 15 YEAR OLD GIRL.

The Return of Hanuman is a non-linear sequel of Hanuman, a movie centered on well, obviously... Hanuman. For those who don't know who Hanuman is, he's a Hindu god in form of a monkey (not actually a monkey, he's a vanara) for short. The Return of Hanuman is also a movie which centers around Hanuman, what differs this movie from its non-linear prequel is that instead of taking place long time ago where electricity has yet exist, The Return of Hanuman takes place in the modern world with large skyscrapers and advance technology.

The story goes like this: Hanuman wants to visit Earth as a human (there's a "human" in "Hanuman", lol) after he looks at a little boy getting bullied by his classmates. After convincing Brahma, Hanuman was born as a human boy named Maruti in the village of Bajrangpur. During his human adventures, he helps his friends, faces his problems caused by his superhuman powers, and save the world.

For the movie, I think the idea of mixing Hindu mythology and the modern world is brilliant! It makes the movie more accepted (to me at least). In the movie, even the Hindu gods use modern technology. The laptops, bald-eagle shaped airplanes, even touch screens, which is awesome in my opinion. The Hindu gods also act in a funny manner, like modern Indian people speaking in Hinglish (portmanteau of "Hindi" and "English"), which is something I like. This element is disliked by some of the religious Hindi viewers, but I think people who only regard this movie as a remix of mythology (like the appearances of Vishnu in Family Guy) will be tickled (not literally). The dancing sequence in the movie also made me laughed and made me thought, "That's so Bollywood!"

Albeit the movie is supposed to be set in the modern urban world, the movie takes place in a village, which isn't so modern. The village doesn't have much technology or cars and stuff. I'm not from India, so I may be wrong. I think they chose this setting because people in a village are more traditional and would worship gods more. Despite on the traditional setting, its spin off series The New Adventures of Hanuman makes it up by making the village more modern.

OK, back to the plot. Anyway, Maruti as an infant was very hyper and forever hungry. He is like this, even after three months where Maruti had quickly aged up into a primary school student. With his quirky personality, he helped his friends Minku, Munni, and Daddu against the bullies. I think it's hilarious to see the fright on the bullies' faces. Later, Maruti steals mangoes from the local gangsters who lives behind THE BIG WALL which are the cause of the mysterious disappearance of a number of villagers.

Then came the plot change when Rahu and Ketu (two mythological beings who caused the eclipses) accidently dropped the staff into the village (what a coincidence!) and eventually (I'm actually too lazy to explain the whole thing) dropped into a volcano which transforms into a large monster!

Now for the actual reviews! Okay, maybe I've already reviewed some of the points above, but I'm still gonna review! First, the plot. The plot is pretty good, and makes sense. They show how hard being an abnormal human is when they try to adapt in a certain environment, which is a type of plot I like. The movie also shows that you're not supposed to harm the earth and its contents (including human beings). And... they show how important milk is, briefly.

I don't find any holes in the movie. (I'm pretty dumb when it comes to finding plot holes.) Oh yeah! There's this part where Narada turns into a little kid to call Maruti... from behind the tree! I really don't get that part, seriously. The thing bugging me is that characters keep on gasping. Maruti also keeps grunting (you know, saying "grrrrrr!"), though it's something I would enjoy since it's something of a tsundere (a Japanese term) trait. The shout outs to other movies are entertaining as well.

The songs are Bollywood-esque (duh, it's an Indian movie!), ranging from songs with a lot of hype to songs focused on Hindu god Hanuman. My favorite song would be Peth Hai Ya Blackhole (or is it Peth Ya Hai Blackhole?) because the lyrics are funny as they depict Maruti's love for food. The music they frequently use for the movie is Dhishum Dhishum , which is playful and kiddish.

I love watching the video, and I anticipate on what would happen next with the adorable Maruti and his friends. Especially since it's a 2 dimensional animated movie. The CG of the volcano monster kinda sucks though.

Maruti's voice actor did a good job on voice acting for Maruti. How he tried to sound tough and confident made me laughs. The only thing bothering me is when he said "Hello, Tunnu!" It sounds too much like a little boy rather than a kid acting like a tough warrior. That's what made Maruti special. For the other characters, they sound good as well, and acted well. Minku's kinda wimpy though, but I think Minku is supposed to be portrayed as a wimp. Narada's voice gave his hilarious character, while grownup Hanuman sounds wise but outgoing.

As the movie ended, I felt quite sad that Maruti has to leave the village. I wondered how long would it take for Maruti to grow up into grownup Hanuman after he transforms into Hanuman.

I wouldn't want to rate since it would affect the ones who want to watch the film.

After I've watched the movie, I feel like everybody should watch the movie, especially with the incredibly cute Maruti. Seriously, people should make some fanart of him (along with the other characters). The Return of Hanuman should be broadcasted world wide... I think they should dub the movie soon. They've already been planning it but it hasn't been finished. That way the movie will get more publicity.

Most of you guys might be familiar with the term Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid. Unfortunately, Vocaloid isn't the title of anime or manga [despite that a manga was released later which was based on this program]. Vocaloid is a voice synthesizer program made by Yamaha which is very popular worldwide. And Hatsune Miku is one of the characters made for this program. Vocaloid is 'played' not only by inputting words and notes into the program, we could also make these Vocaloids sing. Is it easy or hard? Well, it's more like in the middle...

ABOUT VOCALOID

Vocaloid is a voice synthesizer program developed by Pompeu Fabra University in Spain which is officially sponsored by Yamaha. The program enables the user to make songs from imitated voice data in the program by just inserting lyrics and melodies. The Vocaloid synthetic voices came is recorded from the voices of singers or seiyuus. There are a lot of famous seiyuu and singers whose voice became the base of these Vocaloids, one of them is Gackt, whose Vocaloid's name is Kamui Gakupo [which is an anagram of 'Camui Gackt'], and is called Gackpoid.

Vocaloid Software isn't only available in Japanese, the first Vocaloid series were actually made for English. Yamaha announced Vocaloid the first time in the Musikmesse festival in Germany by March 2003. Leon and Lola were the first Vocaloids to be produced. The program isn't only for professional musicians, but amateurs could also use it. What became the limitations are only the ability of each user.

HOW TO PLAY

The simple things to do is to put one syllable for one note, arrange the note where the syllable will be placed, the length of the note, the intervals, and the vibration of the voice. The lyrics and notes will be inserted into an appearance that is similar to a music sheet where the notes and lyrics could be arranged to the liking. The higher it goes, the note would also go higher, the same with the reverse. Each character's voice has a different voice range, some characters with a normal voice range would be falsetto if we put the notes outside the voice range. Or for characters with a high voice, low notes would sound very weird, that also goes for the characters with a low-voiced character, high notes will sound very silly and 'forced'.

The voice accent could also be changed. There are some pressings such as for the sound of 'r', 'p', and some other consonants on one of the modes. For Japanese Vocaloids, you could put Indonesian lyrics to be sung by these Vocaloids, but the pronunciation will sound funny. The sound of 'la' will sound like 'ea', and 'va' would sound like '~a'. But if you put the 'la' syllable without any pressure, it will almost sound like 'la'. It might sound easy, but there's a lot of note variations, length of making a song, and there are also a lot of features to be used. For anyone who is blind with notes and not musically talented, without any instruments to be played to know the desirable note; it will be very, very hard to arrange the notes in the program and make the Vocaloid character sing as the user wanted.

Even though he's a boy, Len's voice range is almost the same as Rin, just a little bit lower. What made the difference is that Rin's accent is more 'boyish'. Len and Rin's voice are very harmonic so the user could use both of them for duets in a song.

Miku-Miku Dance
This program is separated from the other Vocaloid programs because it uses 3D animation. This freeware can be used to make the Vocaloid characters dance.

Vocaloid Flex
If Vocaloid 1 and Vocaloid 2 are programs specifically to make songs, then Vocaloid Flex is used for 'speaking'. This program has a speech synthesizer which enables the user to edit the phonetic voice system from the Vocaloid characters and make them talk like a person.

Netvocaloid
Like the usual Vocaloid program, users could make a song online with the program provided by the server. This program is available in English and Japanese.

Even if her name means 'first', Miku isn't actually the first Vocaloid of this second series, even if it's true, Miku is the first Vocaloid 2 in the Japanese version. Before Miku, there is Sweet Ann who first uses the new features in Vocaloid2.

A Vocaloid comic entitled Maker Hikoshiko Hatsune Mix, is serialized in Comic Rush magazine since November 2007. I just saw my class head cried the first time! Well, it was her birthday today, and her school organization boss teacher guy helped my classmates (seriously, I wasn't involved) throw a birthday party by suddenly getting mad at her while "testing her mental skills". Man, she cried! And she's supposed to be some manly girl who suddenly got taller than me by less than a year.

She got chocolate cake. It tasted very good, just like when it's my homeroom teacher's birthday.

I think that each time someone was treated like that, I started to cry too. For two reasons: I want to be respected like that in a party (I didn't get much of a celebration this year, dang) and I imagine myself being treated like that.

Hm... I think I would already guess on what would I do if someone did a birthday party like that. I would get angry and run amok.

The Pacific: Lots of Gore but I could Tolerate

Oh, darn! First is Night at the Museum, then this!!!??? Just because of some fictional Egyptian pharaoh mummy who learned English from Cambridge whom because of the power of the tablet he became really lifelike whose name is variously spelled and have a big hammy brother who is really jealous of him and had a dark gate which includes dark people and which the said pharaoh only appeared a few times in the movies???

Anyway, I watched some of the episodes of The Pacific because I knew it from reading stuff about Rami Malek, who played Ahkmenrah from Night at the Museum and Marcos Al-Zacar from 24. Oh, and Kenny from War at Home, too.

So I started watching the 5th episode. I knew that according to the storyboard, Malek's character Snafu barfed. Yeah, Snafu was awesome, even when he barfed (well, it's not like the barf was shown anyway). He also smokes and showed himself with no shirt on! I was like "he's so cool" and "he's so bad" at the same time.

Aww man! Why should I have to talk about Snafu if Sledge is one of the main protagonists?

Well, the main thing is that due that The Pacific is about the World War II involving people being shot and bombed and stuff, there's a lot of gore and blood! There's also the part where it takes place during their home: The United States of America. Yeah... that part was kinda boring. I could actually tolerate the gore and curse words. (Even though it's bad, it's just acting, right, so no people were actually harmed.) We should know that they were trying to guard America, right?

The soundtrack is awesome and epic! Even though The Pacific has its own soundtrack, there are some songs which reminds me of the HBO mini-series.

1234 manga in process

I'm currently making a Manga named "1234". It's about the daily (or fantastic) lives of companions Lala and copycat404 (nicknamed "cc404" or "Cece" by some, though Lala calls her the former). I was inspired after reading "Satu Atap"; I found out that I could also try publishing a comic as well. It'll be in Indonesian, unfortunately. But, I'll publish them to the web in English only.

Now I'm in progress of making a chapter which Lala and cc404 visits an old mansion. Yep, that's a small spoiler for you! I'm not even finished with the draft yet! Do you know that I'd have to scan them to the computer, ink them on PaintTool SAI and GIMP, then print them out before sending them to the company?

Well, you know Rami Malek from the last post, right? *tsundere*Well, it's not like I'm liking him or anything!*tsundere* But... you know that he's real, while Montblanc's not! I've seen the guy's preformance from (almost) all of the programs he stars in. He did pretty much do things that I've never heard from Montblanc before, especially as Marcos Al-Zacar from 24. He shoots someone, bleeds, cried (with tears?). Yeah... I wish Montblanc could be like that. Could it be because...

Montblanc's not real?

Well, it's actually up to the creators of Ivalice Alliance if Montblanc's gonna do all stuff. And so far for the fanarts, the only fanart which involves Montblanc bleeding and crying are works by me! *sigh* This just sucks.

But what actually is better? Liking a real guy or a fictional guy? In a fangirl way, not a lovey-dovey-romance thing!

Hm... maybe I'll talk about that Egyptian American guy some more. A lot of people thinks that he's handsome, especially sexy, Or So I Have Heard from YouTube comments. Well, I don't think he's sexy! I don't even like to see his face. (Well, it's kinda my nature to not have eye contact.) I like how he acts innocent and stuff. I like comedy, and when he's associated with it, it's definitely something I like! I also like his voice somehow. It's not sexy! I just like voices like that. Despite that he's actually born (and raised?) in America, he still sounds a bit Egyptian, you know. And I like his role in Night at the Museum, Ahkmenrah/Akhmenrah/Akmenrah (man, so many spellings) mostly because of his clothes.

Do you know that this weird feeling inside me is also encouraged by my sisters, who also said that Rami Malek is attractive?

I watched Night at the Museum a few weeks ago, and saw Akhmenrah, the supposed pharaoh from the movie. All of my sisters and friends said that he's either cute, handsome, or hot. But I think that it's kinda disturbing to see him and his appearance drives me crazy! I like his costume, though. Yeah, it's pretty attractive.

But the rest is kinda creepy. Especially during the movie's sequel. The character who was played by Rami Malek only appears during the prologue and epilogue. And he kinda acted kinda nuts during the epilogue, when he tried to explain the magical tablet in front of little girls (who had not faced puberty yet, so they weren't attracted, yet), but ended up lying that it was just a decoration.

Hm... well, I'd better keep on liking Montblanc until I'm in college.

Phineas and Candace's Father

Here's my opinions on the story of their biological father if you want to know.

Here is a special website dedicated to Phineas and Candace's father.

Not Lawrence Fletcher, their step-father. Their biological father, the one who caused Linda Flynn to get pregnant with those two. According to a lot of sources, there are two possibilities, that he either died or was still alive but just divorced.

Sorry if I was so sudden talking about Phineas and Ferb.

For the second possibility, there are canonical (not OC) three candidates to be Phineas and Candace's father.

1. Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz

This candidate is most well-known to the fans of P & F, the evil scientist who wants to rule the Tri-State Area. The source mostly came from here and here. Below are the supporting and opposing factors, and the stretch of it.

Supporting factors

Many fans have believed that because they're face structure is the same (being triangle), having hair sprouts, and have the same hobbies, Dr. Doofenshmirtz is Phineas' biological father.

Turn to Oppose

If you look closely, their facial features are different. Heinz Doofenshmirtz has a long pointy nose and a long chin, while Phineas looks mostly like a fish.

Opposing factors

In the episode "What Do It Do?", Doofenshmirtz had claimed that he met Linda Flynn before, being on a date and stuff, but after he tries to use his invention, the date didn't went well and he never met her again.

Turn to Support

If we try to stretch this up, it would go to a mature, 18+ measure. Dr. D would meet Linda and made her pregnant without noticing that she is Linda. She may be on drugs or something (thinks of Forest Gump). This may be the reason that he had been divorced to his previous wife. However, some event like this would usually occur to either one of the children.

2. Roger Doofenshmirtz

Ah, Roger. Heinz's little brother who does many things better than him (except for inventng stuff). He doesn't make much of an appearance, so I'm only going to put factors only.

Supporting factors

He is Heinz's brother. Therefore he could bring his genes to his children Candace and Phineas.

Opposing factors

See Heinz's Opposing factors above.

3. Perry the Platypus

Yeah, you must have been wonder why an animal be a human's biological father. You see, one of the posts on this blog explains the story of this candidate. For short, it says that Perry used to be a human who was later changed into a platypus.

Supporting factors

Perry cares so much for the Flynn-Fletcher family. He is also mature compared to the other agents he works with. Then, in "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted", Perry dreams of Candace dreaming something. There's a "Little Brothers" song sequence, where every moment since Phineas was born. Also, this the ending turned out to be Perry's dream, he seems to know a lot.

Turn to Oppose

Perry may care about the Flynn-Fletcher family because they have token care of Perry very much. In the "Little Brothers" sequence, Perry might be randomly guessing what would Phineas and Ferb's past would be like.

Opposing factor

Perry's organization, the O.W.C.A, wouldn't accept non-animal agents (except for Planty the Potted Plant). There is also so far no special relationship between Perry and Linda Flynn, his supposed "wife".

Turn to Support

The O.W.C.A. may only had Perry the human as an agent. After he was turned into a platypus, they trained some animals to be an agent. Perry wouldn't really want to relate himself to Linda because he is probably jealous or that's part of acting as a normal pet platypus. He would probably care more of his "children".

After you have read the information above, it is actually up to you which one is the father, since I doubt that the creators of Phineas and Ferb would show out loud about that.

Well, this is MiniMandy (a.k.a "Minnie"). She's in this "warrior" mode. It's green, with yellow lining, had brown stockings, oh man! I cannot believe Bleedman had drew something so cool! He drew something very similar as to Montblanc! She even had gray eyes and blonde hair, which is even more similar!

Then there will be something important to her while wearing that attire! I'm going fangirl right now! Let me breathe hard first!

OK, I read this comic with my sister since she wanted to read this. I'm also curious because it's a very known comic. Oh, and this comic is called "Grim Tales from Down Below". I just hope I don't get it wrong...

Montblanc in FFTA3: OA

I will introduce Montblanc from Final Fantasy Tactics A3: Omega Awakening (I kinda suggest it as Final Fantasy Tactics α3), a fan project, not from Square Enix, as it's disclaimed. In the website that is now on maintenance, I was in charge of this character (I'm a big fan of him anyway).

Let me kinda do some artist interview kind of thing. I gave him a monocle because of his "upperclass" state. You know, because of he leads Clan Centurio, one of the most well-known clans in Ivalice. If you think about the clan's salary, you'll think that the clan leader would get the most money right? That made me think that Montblanc's rich. Another reason is because he's a professor type of person in this game. I'll explain later.

His outfit isn't actually his original outfit from the other games (unlike the picture above), instead Montblanc would wear a modification of it.

Well, you'll probably know what's its relation with the story plot below (it's font is white, so it's a spoiler thing).

Montblanc is the leader of Clan Centurio, a clan that is well-known all across the world. But despite of Montblanc's fame which led him to be almost more famous than Prima Donna, not a single person, with the exception of his close friends, knew even a hint that Montblanc has a certain goal.

When the moogle wasn't standing on the banister giving hunts or using his Black Magick to knock off monsters and crooks, or searching around the streets for the latest rumors so he could solve them, Montblanc resides in his bedroom, reading some books he either borrowed or bought in public places. What was in those books?

Books about Grimoires, magic, crystals, anything inter-dimensional. He wanted to know about the world his old friend had lived. It has been years that he's been doing this, reading pages and pages and study on them.

When Montblanc had already married a wealthy girl (named Reaker), quit his clan for a while, and had a child who was old enough to go to school, something had said to him that he should have a journey, to deepen his knowledge about this Grimoire, or even help someone with a pack of knowledge filled within his head.

Montblanc is later found in Jylland by the protagonists of FFTA3, Mira and Otto (such not-good names, I guess) during a mission where an unknown person needed help in research (or his monocle, this is still to be discussed). They thought it was a Nu Mou, but then he was Montblanc. Mira tells Montblanc that she wanted to go home to Earth, then he says that his old friend was from there too. Montblanc said that his friend was lost, but he helped him to bring him back home.

With all of those people following Montblanc, there was a mission where another clan member of Clan Centurio (and a big fan) wanted to have a battle with him. When they get defeated, the member of Clan Centurio said that they weren't good enough because of Montblanc's absence, but the founder said that they just needed to train harder.

His signature weapon is a Bulava, a mace made for some noble upperclassmen like him. It was made for a long time, and it was an award with no price. The mace gave him a new ability to his Negromancy skillset, Faust. It could be obtained through a special mission where his wife sent him a package. Montblanc must receive it in the Harbor, but it was invaded by pirates, therefore they must be defeated in order to finish the quest.

There's also a dismiss mission (a feature Tempestman introduced) for Montblanc, where he receives a letter from his wife that her family misses him. You don't have to worry, since you could also turn back from this mission. There will be some Yes/No option in the quest.

That's all for the information. It's not that it's accepted by the FFTA3 crew, but let's hope it does.

Final Fantasy Tactics A3 info

Final Fantasy Tactics A3: The Final Chapters (temporary name) is a fan project started by Tempestman. It is a group of ideas by many fans of the previous Tactics series. It has both dark and bright elements. The story is about a school girl who found a mysterious book on the streets, despite that she didn't really like ancient books like the book she found. She kept it anyway since her father is an enthusiast of historical books. When she slept, she found herself in a weird world known as Ivalice, in a situation where war is in place.

Characters: (some spoilers, but some major spoilers are hidden.)

Mira Randell: The female protagonist who found the book in her town. She happened to have a mysterious power, which might trigger the Grimoire she held.

Otto: The male protagonist who saved and helped Mira in Ivalice. He is described as the "player character" and he is as important as Mira. Otto is an archer who seeks revenge.

Jak: Otto's moogle thief who has the same goal. Their clan will named based on his "grandpappy", and he talks a bit more "streety" than others.

Lif: He is a viera, and Shara's brother who protects Mira, since she is familiar to another person who was described to him before. Despite being a male viera, he lived among female viera instead of the place where male viera should belong to.

Seth: Otto and Jak's best friend, who was thought to be dead a few moments ago. But he was seen alive again...

Mid: A Rev engineer who loves engineering. Not much is known about him.

Marigold: Lif's old friend, she was his partner a long time ago. She seems to have an affiliation with Seth (or does she?).

Montblanc: A moogle who works part-time as a "professor". He went to Jylland in his expedition in order to research the place where there was another person who was involved with the Grimoire before. Yes, this time, he has a wife.

Babus: Yes, he's here too. But as an illusion made by the Occuria.

I played The Sims 3, and it was a blast. In my game, there are three Sims, Lala Luna Stella (sim version of me), Montblanc (the handsome one), and Cindy (my little sister's). Lala Luna's currently going steady with Montblanc. (hehe...) That's such fantasy, isn't it? My traits are Daredevil, Hot-headed, Inappropiate, Artistic, and Clumsy. One of Montblanc's traits are Insane. Really, no kidding here! Why? 'Cause I was inspired by his FFTA2 description, last sentance. You'll understand. Unfortunately, copycat404 isn't going to make a Digimon doujin. Why? Uh... if for stuff like those it's usually because she's lazy. Yeah, I know it sucks, but just accept it! Forgive us, please, especially to the Digimon fans.

Instead she's planning to make another comic. It's about some alien meeting a girl, which reminds me of Lilo and Stitch.

Too bad it's not even made yet. First, she only has a blue pen, and she wanted a black pen to work out. Second, she has some remedial stuff, so that makes her busy.

For my doujin, Monburan no Hanayome, I'm currently up to more than 40 pages. But don't expect any romantic kisses here. Really, trust me. I'm not allowed. Regardless of that, there will be light romance, a teaspoon of cute, and a drop of comedy. And adventure, it is an Ivalice Alliance doujin, after all, isn't it? I'm going to scan and ink the in the computer once the scanner could work.

I just knew Montblanc's Sticker Picture!

I was confused about the picture of a Montblanc sticker used at an exhibition on FFTA2 (I sure wanna join!). This was the picture. (click to enlarge)

(Fan Wank: Why is Montblanc only called "モンブラン" while the other characters had longer names? Oh come on!)

I sent a translated comment to the person who's in charge of the exhibition, and he (I think) said that it was Montblanc with a book and casting fire, like what I thought. I've became more curious, but I'll lay back for a while... until I saw this!

There are some stuff that's not really drawn accurately (like his shoes), but it was drawn really well. This was drawn by this person, thank you very much. Click the link if you also want to see Hurdy and Penelo.

Happy Halloween! (for the people who celebrates it) I'm not sure if this holiday is celebrate in the East (except for Japan?), but I know that a lot of people are celebrating this in the West, including USA. This is a random page that I've made in Paint with my mouse! It's about the Monburan no Hanayome thing. (I think it's a bit fetish fuel to see Montblanc fainting with blood on his face.) Because of that, I'm currently making a full book version of that with my pencil today.

It's another entry for Pumpkin Head. It's Mustadio Bunansa from Final Fantasy Tactics in Montblanc's clothes. The two look alike, you know!

I remember posting posts about Montblanc. I started making these last year. And since my knowledge had grew (along with some theories), I will "answer" my own questions.

Montblanc's master might look like Yasumi Matsuno, since this story was made to commemorate his leaving from the dev team.

Monburan no Hanayome Chapter One: Childhood

Once upon a time there was a young 7-year-old princess who loves roses. Her family moved in another country in order to make her kingdom more powerful. Her neighbor seemed to be a broken prince; about her same age, whose father and mother died somehow and was raised by his advisor until he is ready to became king. The princess, her father, the prince, and his advisor introduced themselves when the princess’ family came in to the royal neighbor hood.

“What’s your name?” the prince asked.

“It’s Reaker, kupo,” the princess, actually a rich young moogle introduced. She always fantasized about being a princess. This moogle loves ponies, makeup, and flowers; especially roses. She never had met a boy at her age before, since she spends most of her time with girls. “What’s yours?”

“They call me ‘Montblanc,’ kupo.” The prince who is actually an orphan moogle who was raised by his master answered. His master knew martial combat, so Reaker’s parents didn’t mistreat him. He was introduced to magick when he was a baby, probably the cause of his parents’ death. He smiled cheerfully. “It’s nice to meet you.”

Montblanc grasped Reaker’s hand and invited, “Do you want to play while waiting?”

“Why? Have you handled a girl, before?” Reaker seems to be shocked by his actions.

“I have a little sister, so don’t you worry, kupo.” The young moogle boy encouraged.

They played around playing tag, hopscotch and many other outdoor games, it was her first time playing with a commoner; and it was fun. She ended her playtime in the evening when her parents warn her not to play outside late again.

It was Reaker’s first day in the Akademy in her gorgeous black transfer uniforms. She was expecting her friend Montblanc to attend the school. But she didn’t see a moogle with sleek blond named “Montblanc” anywhere. She was lonely, everyone looked at her being afraid that she’ll mock him or her.

She feels like Montblanc was her only friend.

She walked home at noon, as her parents thought that the people of Rabanastre didn’t know how rich Reaker is yet. They planned that she will use a chocobo cart after a few days.

“What are you doing, kupo?” Reaker asked Montblanc.

Montblanc faced behind him and saw his pigtailed friend again. “Oh it’s you, Reaker. I’m just buying this week’s grocery, kupo. It’s one of my chores today.”

Reaker went closer. “Why didn’t come to the Akademy?”

The moogle answered with his usual smile, “The Akademy? I don’t attend there, kupo!” Montblanc handled some of the grocery bags to her. “Here, kupo. Mind if you help me bring these to my house, kupo?”

“But my parents said that I should come home early, or they’ll take me out of school, kupo!”

While taking the rest of the bags, Montblanc encouraged her again, “It’s going to be quick, OK, kupo?”

The two moogles went home together. While at the journey, Reaker asked, “Why don’t you attend the Akademy, kupo? I don’t want you to be stupid, kupo.” Montblanc responded, “My master teaches me, kupo.”

“About what, kupo?”

“Everything about Ivalice, kupo. Along with my brothers and sister.”

Montblanc and Reaker had fun with each other, without remembering about time. It ended up that they were late, and Reaker’s parents weren’t happy.

“Didn’t we told you to go home immediately, kupo!?” Reaker’s mother scolded.

“We were very worried about you, kupo!” Reaker’s father continued.

“I’m sorry, kupo, but we just couldn’t put you to school. You’ll be home schooling instead, kupo.” Reaker’s mother announced.

She was disappointed that she couldn’t study at the Akademy anymore. She wanted to have more friends. Then again, her classmates won’t accept her. She’s like Montblanc now, studying at home.

As she thought about that, she went to her newly made pink room and relaxed on her fluffy bed.

Reaker home school teacher was a Hume, jut like Montblanc’s master. She taught her the subject that any Akademy would teach, like Math and Science. The moogle had a pretty hard time studying that, especially if she could look at Montblanc right outside the window. The only subject that Reaker was really good at was Combat. She wanted to be a Moogle Knight so at combat she tried to be an animist.

“I wanted to be the prettiest warrior in Ivalice, kupo!” she shouted with enthusiasm.

A few months had pasted. After being taught by his master, Montblanc came outside for some fresh air. Reaker’s home schooling was also done so she went outside to meet him.

“Montblanc, there you are, kupo!”

“Hi, kupo.” He greeted back. “What’s the matter, kupo?”

Reaker asked with struggle, “I… can I… call you… ‘Montblanc-sama’?”

“Sure, why, kupo?” Montblanc reacted while confused.

“Because I think because of you I feel very warm inside. You taught me many things, kupo. I wanted to serve you in payment, kupo!” Reaker explained.

“In that case…” Montblanc stated, “I should call you ‘Reaker-chan’, kupo. How about that, kupo?”

Reaker was very pleased with that honorific.

“Let’s go to the Giza Plains to pick up Muskmallow, kupo!” Montblanc invited again.

“OK!”

They continued to be friends for a long time, and it continued to their older years.

Drawing Fras

This is the process of drawing Fras from Final Fantasy Tactics A2. It's a bit like a tutorial, I guess. Except that I don't have a lot of screenshot for this.

First, I draw a sketch. I drew this at Photoshop with a drawing tablet.

Like in this picture, I drew the face anatomy first. Then I drew her eyes, nose and mouth. Then the rest like her hair, ear, and clothes. In drawing, it's recommended to have your own style of drawing, being inspired from tutorials from many types of media.

Then I made a new layer and did the line art. It was pretty hard when drawing line art... After the line art is done I made a few more layers for the colorings (using the plain brush). When the coloring is finished, I made a new layer and set the style to "Multiply" (with help of another artist) and put the lighter tones, then I put the darker tones after that.

Lastly, I put in the highlights and the extra stuff, like at her shoulders and her cheeks. Then I put a simple background with fire with Gaussian Blur.

Monburan no Hanayome!

Monburan no Hanayome (モンブランの花嫁) is a recurring mission from the Ivalice Aliance. You know, the one where Montblanc gets a letter from a townsgirl who wants to confess their feelings. And when he comes to the location, it is actually a trick!

I wanted to make some fanfiction of this, and because of that I want to makea synopsis the character sheet.

Synopsis

At a small age, Reaker was a friend of Montblanc, and then she started to like him when they were older. She asked him to go steady with her (you know, boyfriend girlfriend) but Montblanc rejected her. So when Montblanc went to the dream Ivalice in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Reaker's wishes (though unconcious) caused her to make a trick for him as a lesson in humanity.

As Montblanc went out of the dream Ivalice, he wants to make Reaker understand the reason of his rejection to her, because he is too busy managing Clan Centurio. Reaker was unconvinced though.

A few years later, Montblanc wanted (or sneaked out) to Jylland in search for the Gigas Pendant, because he had a replica once, but it was lost. He once went to Jylland with his prestigious Clan Centurio and fought in a tourney. After he took a journey too long, he posted a mission called "Wanted: Friends, Kupo!" and found out that a boy named Luso of Clan Gully had already found the Gigas Pendant; along with the "Bringer's Pin" (Pin of Order) and the "Reaper's Rings" (Earrings of the Dead). He temporarly joined Luso's clan without telling Clan Centurio about it.

The news had spread that the famous leader Montblanc had came to Jylland made a viera named Fras had an idea... for revenge. At Montblanc's last visit to Jylland, he told the tourney operator to not anounce his clan because he sense something suspicious. It was Fras' clan (unnamed) that gave an elixir to the other clan so their bowels turn to water (maybe that they have some digestive disease?). The leader Fras was astonished when Clan Centurio came to the tourney. Fras' clan tried to defeat them, but unfortunately they failed.

Remembering that bitter moment, Fras gave a letter to Montblanc to meet her at the Hall of Kings, Ruins of Delgantua. At that location, Fras engaged Montblanc to a battle, turning out that she was defeated again. Though he had beaten up someone who cheated her way to victory, Montblanc felt pitty for her.

Moments after the battle, Reaker decided to go to Jylland after she heard about Montblanc's departure from Rabanastre. She wanted to tell her feelings toward him once more.

At a pub in Jylland, Reaker asked people where Montblanc went... until she met Fras. They both argue each other about him. At the end Fras said that she regrets about the avengement, and wanted to apologize to him. The two people who liked Montblanc helped each other, and may have conflict in between.

Characters

Montblanc

He's not actually the main character, but he's the main target. The other two characters (being Reaker and Fras) will work together or fight each other for him. He is named with the honorific "-sama" by Reaker and Fras.

His name means "white mountain" in French, which probably why the name of the Viera in FFTA2 is also french.

Reaker

I consider Reaker as a girl because even though her English name sounds like a guy's name, her Japanese name is Reika (レイカ) which is a girl name in Japan.

She's a Mog Knight from Clan Rose. At least at the dream Ivalice. She lives in Rabanastre with Montblanc, and befriends with him and acts like an inferior, making her calling him with the honorific "-sama". She asked him to be his girlfriend once, but was rejected.

Because of that, in the dream Ivalice Reaker wanted revenge for him, though unconcious. She is potrayed as a Tsundere, and her name means "cool summer" in japanese.

Fras

Real name Francoise, she is the viera who wanted revenge from him. She is called with the honorific "-chan" by Montblanc, because before the tourney they became friends at the moment.

She admires him for some reason, probably his weird kindness, which made her call Montblanc with the honorific "-sama". I'm going to make her with a longer face. The drawing is in process, but you can see her sketch at my dA account (Kuzlalala).

She is the youngest sister of two in her family. Her big sister seems very feminine and more mature than her.

She uses the pronoun "atai". Since it's considered very impolite or informal, she will be potrayed with a Yakuza additude. Or Ladette.

Her Japanese name means the "French Language" in French while her English name Fras means "rain" in Scottish.

OS-tans are these cute moe versions of systems, like in the front is ME-tan, a human girl version of Windows M.E. I saw this website, and saw a whole bunch of OS-tans. I wondered "Why aren't they any BSOD or Sad Mac-tans?" then I just drew them (after trying to search for them, even in Japanese!).

Someone asked me when I was going to school. She (yes, a girl if you asked) wondered if I was getting close to copycat404. I answered that I don't actually know.

We are very close to each other, that's what I know. She's also a good friend to talk with. Anything that other people wouldn't react positively at. I always hold her hand and pulled her to somewhere interesting.

Though sometimes I like to be jealous about her. She could eat, draw, and write faster than me. Also running, don't forget about that. She also have better grades than me, except for English (and probably ITC).

Well, that's what friends are for, right?
